Where should I go to set up a business entity in Nevada if I don’t live there?
A friend of mine once told me that I can set up a LLC business address in Nevada and I should do so for tax reasons. However, I don’t live in Nevada. Can it be done? Are there really benefits? Is it better to do it in Nevada, Wyoming or Delaware?
It’s quite easy, to do as long as you have a resident agent in Nevada. It must be, because I live in the UK and have registered a business in Wyoming.
Go online to the Secretary of State for Nevada, he/she is responsible for all business registrations. Their website will tell you what you need to do, and how much it costs to register the company name, usually $100.
