What are the steps for forming an LLC in Nevada? I have the Articles of Organization already. What’s next?
Most importantly, I need to get a tax ID #.
File that with the Secretary of State. I believe that at that time it is reviewed and then sent to the federal government for a tax ID #. You may have to file that yourself with the IRS for an ID. But, you also need to check into the state licensing too. In Nevada, you must first be licensed in the area where the ‘home’ address is for the business. Example: business address is in Henderson, you complete and file paperwork with them. Then if you plan on working in other areas of the city and county, you must be licensed in those areas as well.
You can find the forms/applications on line for the state of Nevada. You can find some good info there to on everything else for the LLC.
