Forming An Llc In Nevada
I want to form an LLC. Where is the best state to do it, why, and how?
I’ve heard Nevada and Delaware but how would I set it up there if i don’t live there. Can I just use a PO BOX is the state?
I formed my LLC on the internet. It took about 30 minutes, total. The only reason it took that long was because I put the horse before the cart. You visit your states’ Secretary of State site and start there. Decide what name you want and find out if that name is available, then reserve it. It only cost about $125.00 to do it myself over the internet. I also got a couple of books from the library, Complete Idiot’s Guide to Law for Small Business Owners, Stephen M. Maple.and howe to Start a Business in Georgia, Charles T. Robertson, II. There is a wealth of info out there. Just take some time and get started!
