What is the cheapest and easiest way to dissolve a Massachusetts LLC and re-open it in Nevada. I’ve already been told that I can’t just move the company. I have to dissolve, then re-open it. I’ve seen 2 sites, www.uslegalforms.com and www.legalzoon.com where you can buy the necessary forms or have them prepare the forms for you. Does anyone know a better way, or can you recommend one of these sites. Thanks
You can form a Nevada LLC yourself. Go to the NV secretary of state’s website. And, who told you that you had to dissolve the current company? Not a requirement. Be careful. If you continue to do business in MA from your current location, you are NOT exempt from MA income tax. The follks that form the NV companies conveniently “forget” to tell you that.
